At Shuttercraft Warwick we don’t believe in using pushy sales techniques, relying on supplying the best shutters and blinds, coupled with the friendliest service. Helping you get a look and feel that matches your vision, we fit shutters that provide excellent light control, insulating against both heat and sound loss.

If you live in the centre of Rugby itself, or in surrounding areas like Brownsover, Cawston or Dunchurch, get in touch today to see how shutters could complement your interior designs and make light work in your space.

About Rugby

Although not as famous as its namesake, Rugby is credited as being the birthplace of the game, where it is claimed William Webb Ellis picked up the ball and ran with it during a standard football match. Although never historically proven, the legend lives on, and more recently Rugby became birthplace to the jet engine created by Frank Whittle at the British Thomson-Houston works.

Although settlements in the existed in the area from the Iron Age and into Roman times, it was the growth of the railways that led to the development of Rugby from small market town to thriving industrial hub. While the influence of the railways dwindled during the 20th century, Rugby maintained its excellent transport routes, being situated between both the M1 and M6.

Although largely known for the game, Rugby has also been the birthplace of several notable people such as the poet Rupert Brooke, singer James Morrison and actor Tim Pigott-Smith. Pupils at Rugby School have included former prime minister Neville Chamberlain as well as authors Lewis Carroll and Salman Rushdie.

With such a broad and varied history, and fantastic location, Rugby is a desirable place to live in the Midlands, and is regularly recognised for the high quality of life enjoyed by its residents. If you live in the area already and want to breathe new life into your property then look no further than premium window shutters from your local Shuttercraft.
